T2 W1 Journal Writing: Earth HourY
Hi Today I am going to tell you about Earth Hour!
An Earth Hour is an annual international event created by the 'WWF' (World Wide Fund for Nature/World Wildlife Fund).
It is held on 8:30PM local time, Saturday 28 March 2009 this year.
I think that people are organizing this event because is to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.
On Earth Hour, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour.
I would organise Board games with my family and friends during Earth Hour.
The Earth is facing water pollution, air pollution and littering problem.
I think that people can try not to drive car and take Buses or MRT, because the bus can have many people in it and one bus only alittle bit of air pollution so it will be better & the MRT is because it save times and will not polluts the air!
