T1W4 Journal Writing: FestivalsY

Hi Everyone!

The festival that i celebrate is Chinese New Year.

I celebrate this Festival because Im a Chinese and my mum and every Chinese celebrates it.

I celebrate the festival by going out and visiting my relatives.

I do know what other races are celebrating, for example: Malay celebrates Hari Raya Puasa. And Indian celebrates Deepavali.

Well, the malay celebrates Hari Raya Puasa is because it means to end the fasting.

And the Indian celebrates Deepavali is because it means the Festival Of Lights.

I think that the celebration of the various festivals may help in strengthening harmony among the various races because we will get to know their culture and why is the festival celebrate.

We can develop stronger bonds by having some events that tell us about Racial Harmony Day & having their food on the event and their Culture too...

My Friends...

My Family...

Hi All!

Today Im going to write a topic about Total Defence Day...And the theme is 'What will You Defend?'

Well I will Defend My School, My Family, My Country and Most of all My Friends :D

The reasons for Defending My School is because: School is the place where I study for 6years and i learn alot in this school.

And i will defend My Family is because: Family is where the place that i get most of my love and my mother also cares me alot, so this is the reason for defending my family.

And I will defend my country is because: I Love My Country very much, And also it cares about the people in Singapore so i think i should defend my country.

Finally, I will defend my Friends :D because: Without Friends I will be very lonely, and i also cant discuss my homework, so i think friends is very important because sometimes friends knows you more than your family does. :D

About The Tooth Fairy...Y

The Tooth Fairy used to give only one dollar. Now it’s at least two. But the teeth have to be clean! Teeth left under the pillow that are exceptionally shinyand have been noticeably cared for with good tooth brushing and floss deserve much more. Sometimes special gifts are warranted. Maybe even a specially desired for toy.

Term1 Wk2: School's Vision, Mission& ValuesY

Hi All!
Today Im gOing to write about our school's Vision, Mission & Values!~

The school's vision is distinction Nurturing Future-Ready Citizens of Character.
And our Mission is: Providing quality education to equip pupils with the values, knowledge and skills for the 21st century.
And I think our Values is : Passion for learning, Integrity our foundation & Excellence in everything we do...But theres also 'S.P.I.C.E.S.' and that is also our school values..

I think the school Vision, Mission and Values is good. I believe in the school values, because i think the school values is very good like Passion for learning.
I think only some of the students engage in the school values when they have activities in school or outside.
As a students i only can behave well and follow the values.?!
I think the teachers can have more group work in class to help the students learn the school Values...
